Life Saviour Course

All caregivers are expected to be trained in Life Saving Methods through the LSC course, which is a simple but highly effective manoeuvre because they may encounter a cardiac arrest situation at any time in the course of their life.The LSC Course is an advanced course of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) meant for health caregivers, including non-medical people. It trains the candidate to immediately recognize several life-threatening emergencies and provide high-quality chest compression.

Each second following a sudden cardiac arrest is critical and hence it is important to take quick action. This course will help you feel prepared and ready to assist at a moment’s notice.  You will be able to identify the signs of a heart attack, then use hands-only CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) to provide lifesaving assistance until paramedics arrive.

  • Assessing an unconscious person

Course Objectives:-

This course teaches the basic skills required to provide the type of care that responders render to anyone who is experiencing cardiac arrest, respiratory distress or an obstructed airway. The course teaches:

  • Importance of high quality Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Steps of Chain of Survival
  • Perform high quality CPR for an adult & a child and an infant
  • Describe prompt use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
  • Effective Team Dynamics while practicing CPR
